Return Policy
We do hope you love your item when it arrives. But if the item is defective or substantially different from the website description/image and you wish to return your order, don’t worry, our returns policy means that you can return anything to us in unused condition within 10 days of receipt, with the original packaging.
If your product is damaged in any way on delivery, please notify us and send us images as proof within 7 days of delivery, so we may correct this as soon as possible.

Please note: S&C supplies handcrafted products/artefacts which due to their nature- display markings, inconsistencies, and/or imperfections that may occur.
Once we’ve assessed and signed the goods off as defective we will replace the item within 14 working days, or refund the customer for the defective item using the same payment method.
The Supplier shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear or any wilful damage, negligence by any other party, subjection to abnormal conditions, used for a purpose other than their usual intended purpose, storage, transport, or cleaning contrary to the warnings or care instructions issued by the Supplier, failure to follow the Supplier’s instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration of the Goods without the Supplier’s approval, or any other act or omission on the part of the Customer, its employees or agents or any third parties.
Please note that should you use your own third-party shipping company to further transport any product(s) already delivered to you by us to another address in South Africa or abroad, we are no longer responsible for any damages even if you notify us within the 7 days return policy unless you informed us of such damages BEFORE passing on the products to your courier company.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of sale or clearance items.
Kindly note all shipping fees are non-refundable. Any shipping fees associated with making returns are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.
Samson & Co does not offer any returns for international shipments
Product Availability
Whilst Samson & Co will always try its utmost to only list products that are available and in stock, please note that we sell products supplied to us by local suppliers and will not be held liable if a product becomes unavailable since being listed.
In the event that a customer purchases a product(s) in the online store and Samson & Co gets notified by the supplier(s) that a product has been discontinued or unavailable for the unforeseeable future, Samson & Co has the right to remove that product from the online store, not fulfil the order and refund the client for any monies spent.
Shipping
Orders will be dispatched within 72 hours of ordering (and full payment reflecting in our bank account). Once an order has been handed to the couriers, delivery takes between 3-7 working days, depending on your location.
Samson & Co will not be held liable for failure to deliver your purchased products due to incorrect shipping details provided by you (the buyer) or failed delivery on the buyer/client’s part where the client is non-reachable at the provided address after two delivery attempts.
It remains the responsibility of the client/buyer to reach us (S&C) to correct this and the client is responsible to settle any additional shipping fees if applicable.
Your total shipping charge for all products (with the exception of furniture) is calculated as the greater total actual item weight or volumetric weight for all the products within your order.
All rates are calculated using a door-to-door courier economy service.
Samson & Co offers a standard furniture delivery service to the ground floor of the delivery address property only and we do not provide hoisting or special moving delivery options (i.e. transporting via elevator or carrying upstairs) of any furniture whatsoever.
We use a third-party standard delivery company that does not offer these types of services.
If you live above the ground floor and require furniture items to be delivered to your floor, it is your own responsibility to make your own additional arrangements and we will only deliver furniture to the ground floor of the delivery address you provided. Once we have delivered your order to the ground floor, the responsibility of that item becomes that of the customer and we will not be liable for damages caused after delivery by Samson & Co.
